Binfield Cricket Club
Est. 1865
Founded in 1865 Binfield CC is a traditional English cricket club based in the heart of the Royal County of Berkshire, located about 2 miles from Bracknell, 8 miles from Reading, 9 miles from Windsor and 30 miles west of London. It has survived many years of good and bad times but has always come through and continued to give pleasure to cricketers of all abilities and backgrounds. Like all clubs it offers both competitive and friendly matches depending on a players preference. The ground itself is one of the original village type grounds that you find dotted around the English countryside and offers that rural feel to the game. The club competes in competitive league fixtures on Saturdays and friendly fixtures on Sundays. Binfield Cricket Club also has a team of people committed to running the colts section which includes players aged from 8 years through to 15 years, all of whom are offered coaching in cricket skills and an understanding of the spirit of the geat game. Hopefully they will all retain their interest and move up to play senior cricket for the club and enjoy the same success and pleasure from the game as their predecessors. Above all Binfield Cricket club offers an enjoyable atmosphere and a sporting calender that can be thoroughly enjoyed by all who take part. We welcome all who would like to become part of it.
